Morning Briefing: G2 Goldfields Makes Discovery in New G3 Spin-out Property

Good morning and welcome to the Mining Stock Daily Morning Briefing. I’m Trevor Hall.

It's Tuesday, March 18th.

Yesterday, the metals complex continued it upward move with spot gold closing just above $3000 per ounce with a gain of about .6% on the day. The continued move higher is attributed to ongoing geopolitical tensions and a weakening U.S. dollar which continues to take the DXY elevator down. Silver was relatively flat on the day and closed at $33.83 on the day. Copper prices neared a 5-month high, trading at $4.95 per pound. There are initiatives out of China to help boost consumption along with expectations of similar stimulus out of Europe, particularly Germany.

We’ll get to the news from the miners and explorers here in a moment, but first a quick word about today’s sponsor.

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by…Integra Resources.

Integra is a growing precious metals producer in the Great Basin of the Western United States. Integra is focused on demonstrating profitability and operational excellence at its principal operating asset, the Florida Canyon Mine, located in Nevada. And here’s what you need to know this morning…..

Awalé Resources reported results from seven diamond drill holes completed as part of the expanded drill campaign targeting the BBM zone at the Odienné Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The holes reported today are within the east, west, and central parts of the BBM mineralization, where the Company has closed drill spacing to a 100m grid. Results included 52m of 2 g/t AuEq and included a 2 m interval within that of 9.3 g/t Au, .87% Cu and 1,206 ppm Mo. This hole confirms the high-grade core to mineralization within a 300m wide plunging shoot. Hole 122 returned 32m of 1.2 g/t AuEq. The drill program, which began in November 2024, is complete with a total of 6,379.9m drilled. 6 holes remain pending for results. (TSXV: ARIC) News Release

G2 Goldfields says they have made a significant gold discovery several miles north of G2’s existing gold resource at the OKO Project, Guyana. Stream sediment sampling conducted by G2 in the discovery area in 2023 and 2024 returned highly anomalous values. Follow up soil sampling campaigns outlined a series of anomalous gold zones in a 1400m x 900m area. Significantly, four of five diamond drill holes targeting the most prominent shear intercepted shallow gold mineralization along a 420m strike length. The maiden results from this area reported today included 24m of 2 g/t Au and 11.9m of 2.2 g/t Au. The discovery lies within the property of the proposed G3 Goldfields spin-out portfolio. ATEX Resources provided an update on its Phase V program at the Valeriano Copper Gold Project in the Atacama Region of Chile. Partial assays of hole 25A have returned 30m of 4.4% CuEq within a broader interval of 108m of 1.69% CuEq from a depth of 1,892m downhole. This represents the highest-grade and northernmost intersection within mineralized porphyry to date, extending the previously identified high-grade trend by 200m to a length of ~1,000m where it remains open. This intersection is 1,000m below the B2B zone representing a new exploration target that will be tested 200m up-dip in hole ATXD25B. Other results reported today included 232m of 1% CuEq in hole 16B and 152m of 2.12% CuEq in hole 23A. Two rigs are currently dedicated to defining the high-grade breccia B2B zone with two others focused on infill drilling within the higher-grade Valeriano Porphyry units. A fifth rig is drilling ATXD25B, a follow-up hole to ATXD25A. (TSXV: ATX) News Release

Abcourt Mines announced assay results from the East Extension of the south Zone on the Flordin Property. A total of four (4) holes for a total of 2,340 metres were drilled directly in the eastern extension of the South Zone. Hole FL-25-282 intersected a large, mineralized envelope of 47.2 metres at 1.1 g/t gold. Drilling also returned 28.5m of 1.3 g/t Au and 17m of 1 g/t. The 2025 holes drilled in the eastern extension of the South Zone are the deepest ever drilled in this area of the property. (TSX Venture: ABI) (OTCQB : ABMBF) News Release
