Morning Briefing: Loads of News to Begin the Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit Week

Welcome to Mining Stock Daily. I’m Trevor Hall.

Today is Monday, September 9th.

We’ll get to the news from the miners and explorers here in a moment, but first a quick word about today’s sponsor.

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by… Arizona Sonoran Copper

Arizona Sonoran Copper Company (ASCU:TSX) is focused on developing its brownfield copper project on private land in Arizona. The Cactus Mine Project is located less than an hour's drive from the Phoenix International airport. Grid power and the Union Pacific Rail line situated at the base of the Cactus Project main road. With permitted water access, a streamlined permitting framework and infrastructure already in place, ASCU's Cactus Mine Project is a lower risk copper development project in the infrastructure-rich heartland of Arizona. For more information, please visit www.arizonasonoran.com.

And here’s what you need to know this morning….

Dolly Varden Silver published new results from the Wolf Vein within the Kitsault Valley Project.  Drill hole DV24-416, averaged 654 g/t Ag, 0.47% Pb and 0.57% Zn over 21.48 meters and drill hole DV24-408, averaged 513g/t Ag, 2.95% Pb and 1.82% Zn over 27.19 meters. Both holes are located on the same vertical section and are separated by 44m vertically. The 2024 exploration drill program on the Kitsault Valley Project has been expanded to 32,000 m from the initial planned 25,000 m based on the successful drilling and supported by the recently completed financing. Currently, 3 drills continue expansion drilling at the Homestake Silver Deposit. (TSXV: DV) (OTCQX: DOLLF) News Release

Vizsla Copper reported results from drill holes completed at the Southeast deposit during the summer core drilling program on the Woodjam project in central British Columbia. Those results included 177.3m of .77% CuEq which included a 96m subinterval of 1.09% CuEq. The core drilling program at the Woodjam and contiguous Redgold projects is ongoing and has been expanded to 10 drill holes (4,000m) from an initially planned 8 drill holes (3,200m). A total of eight drill holes have been completed to date (at Deerhorn, Southeast and Three Firs, plus Redgold). The remaining two will be completed at Redgold and Three Firs. Lavras Gold published results from 12 new drillholes testing the Fazenda do Posto Gold target in the western edge of the LDS project in Brazil. Results included 59m of 2.9 g/t Au, 301 m of .7 g/t and 120m of .9 g/t. The purpose of these drillholes was two-fold: (1) to better understand the geometry and grade distribution of this new gold discovery, and (2) to test for potential extensions of gold mineralization in several directions. The Fazenda Gold Target remains open to the west, north and northwest, south and at depth with the Butiá Gold Deposit occurring to the east. (TSXV: LGC) (OTCQX: LGCFF) News Release

Awalé Resources published partial results of a follow-up drilling program at the BBM Zone on he Odienné Project in Côte d'Ivoire. Results published today included 35m of 3.3 g/t AuEq and 17m of 2.4 g/t AuEq in hole 89. Hole 90 returned 52m of 2 g/t AuEq while hole 92 had 32m of 2.1 g/t. BBM's strike length expanded from around 400 to over 600 metres, with mineralization defined from surface to 250 metres depth with true widths of up to 50 metres. (TSXV: ARIC) News Release

Aurion Resources announced results for nine holes from the 2024 drilling program at the Kaaresselkä area of its wholly owned Risti property located in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt in northern Finland. Gold mineralization was expanded in multiple directions with these results, which included 29.1 g/tAu over 3.1m, 3.35 g/t over 9.85m and 2.77 g/t Au over 9m. All of these results come specifically from the Vanha prospect.  According to the recent results, the Vanha mineralized system is interpreted to extend 100 m towards west and deeper in the western part of the Vanha trend. G Mining announced it has entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire tenements in the Gurupi Gold Belt from wholly-owned subsidiaries of BHP which included the CentroGold Project. The project is being acquired without any upfront cash. Instead, G Mining will grant BHP a 1.0% NSR royalty on the first 1 million ounces of gold produced at the tenements and a 1.5% NSR royalty on gold production thereafter. GMIN views the Project as an advanced-stage exploration asset with extensive exploration and engineering work completed to date, which includes over 135,000 meters of exploration core drilling. Revival Gold reported new results from their column leach metallurgical test program on representative samples from the Mercur Gold Project in Utah. Five composite samples were developed from seven HQ core holes for testing. The composites were developed to be geologically and grade representative of the primary gold-bearing heap leachable host rocks at Mercur. Overall extraction rates for gold for the five column leach tests were 85%, 85%, 74%, 92%, and 82%. The column leach kinetics were rapid on all composites with 90% of the gold leached reporting to solution after only five days. (TSX-V: RVG, OTCQX: RVLGF) News Release
