Western Copper & Gold Publish the Updated PEA for Casino

Welcome to Mining Stock Daily. This is your host, Trevor Hall.

Today is Tuesday June 22nd.

The precious metals sector bounced on Monday, with gold up $14 from Friday, silver up 6 cents and GDX up 1.8%. As with sell-off over the last two weeks, there was not a clear catalyst other than the fact that the sector became extremely oversold from a technical standpoint. The Mining Stock Journal noted that silver underperformed gold by a considerable amount on Monday but that it has successfully tested its 200 dma for the third day in a row. The newsletter also said that the premiums for physical gold on the Shanghai Gold Exchange were positive for the third day in a row and India is starting to open back up after shutting down in response to a surge in Covid infections. Both of these factors should provide strong support for gold and silver prices. Finally, the Mining Stock Journal said that it will be presenting a review of Gold Royalty's acquisition of Ely Gold Royalty in Thursday's issue of the Mining Stock Journal.

We’ll get to the news out of the miners and explorers in a moment, but first a quick mention of today’s sponsor.

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by… Integra Resources.

Integra Resources is advancing the past-producing DeLamar Project in southwestern Idaho. The Company has continued to demonstrate resource growth and conversion through greenfield and brownfield exploration and plans on delivering a pre-feasibility study in Q4 2021 to further de-risk and advance the project towards permitting. Integra Resources trades on the TSX-V under ITR and the NYSE American under ITRG.

And here’s what you need to know this morning.

Talisker Resources shared results from complete and partial drill assay results from its ongoing 100,000 metre drill program at the Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia. Today's release is headlined by a 106.75 metre interval of near-surface bulk-tonnage gold mineralization within the Pioneer Block that returned an average grade of 1.17 g/t gold. More drilling is required to determine the lateral and vertical extents and geometry of the felsic intrusive hosting these broad zones of near-surface gold mineralization at Pioneer. With five drill rigs operating on site, the Company expects to receive more assay results from both the Charlotte Zone and the High-Grade Zone soon. Talisker currently has five drill rigs on site and has completed 38,860 metres of its current 100,000 metre drill program. A sixth drill rig is expected to arrive early in July. Talisker trades on the TSX with TSK and on the OTCQX with TSKFF. News Release

Vizsla Silver provided results of an additional fourteen drill holes from the Napoleon prospect at the Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico. Three holes completed 50 metres to the south of previous drilling average 7.44 metres true width with a weighted average grade of 673 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent, and was highlighted with 8.36 meters of 898 g/t silver equivalent, which included a 1.34 meter interval of 5,197 g/t silver equivalent. Napoleon is now extended to over 950 m of continuous mineralization. It remains open to the south and at depth. News Release

Royal Road Minerals shared interim drilling results from its Caribe gold discovery in northeastern Nicaragua. Results for a further 3 exploratory drill holes have now been returned. Significant results include 29 meters of 1 g/t gold, 12 meters of 1.2 g/t gold and 10.1 meters of 1.85% copper equivalent. That last results coming from hole 23. Multi-element analyses of drillhole geochemical data and the copper mineralization intersected in drill hole CB-DDH-023 are interpreted to imply a concealed copper and molybdenum (possibly porphyry style) mineralized system located outside the limits of the lower temperature gold mineralized halo. The Caribe project forms a part of the Company's Strategic-Alliance agreement with Hemco Mineros Nicaragua and is located in the highly prospective "Golden Triangle" of northeastern Nicaragua. Royal Road Minerals is operator of the Strategic Alliance. The company trades on the TSX Venture with RYR. News Release

Outback Goldfields says they have commenced a systematic exploration program on its Ballarat West property, of the central Victorian Goldfields. Based on a compilation and review of all regional and property-scale geological, geochemical and geophysical data, the Ballarat-based exploration team have identified multiple prospective areas of focus for Phase 1 exploration. The program will consist of geological mapping, rock-chip sampling and soil geochemical surveys. The exploration team is also engaged in procuring land holder access agreements in areas deemed strategically important for the Phase 1 exploration program. Outback Goldfields trades on the CSE with OZ. News Release

Northern Vertex has expanded its property holdings around the Moss Mine in NW Arizona and has obtained property-wide hyperspectral alteration mineral data. Northern Vertex has increased the size of its property around the Moss Mine in NW Arizona from approximately 47 square kilometers to almost 169 square kilometers through a combination of staking and land acquisition. Property expansion was driven by the results of a detailed review of the regional geology, publicly available online mineral resources spatial data, and information in a comprehensive historical database compiled by the Company, which highlighted the district-scale exploration potential around the Moss Mine. Northern Vertex trades on the TSX Venture with NEE and on the OTC with NHVCF. News Release

Summa Silver reported results of two geophysical surveys at its Hughes Property, near Tonopah Nevada. This was the first time the property has seen exploration using Geophysics. Numerous targets are defined which will be ranked and systematically evaluated by geological and structural mapping and as well as soil geochemical surveys which are now in progress. The previously announced 10,000 m drill program is well underway with 10 holes completed. Two core rigs are fully operational on the project. All holes have intersected zones of quartz veins, stockworks and breccias featuring visible silver-sulfosalt minerals, which is often a strong indication that the core is mineralized. Upon receipt of assays, the results will be compiled and announced in a timely manner. Summa Silver trades on the TSX Venture with SSVR and on the OTCQB with SSVRF. News Release
